RT5 FAQWHO GETS AN RT5 TEAM FOR 2013?
"First Dibs" for the inaugural year of the RT5 will go to current CX4 teams who would like to bump their teams up the ranks of the CXBL League.
In addition, new teams may be placed on the waiting list.
HOW DO I GET ON THE WAITING LIST?
Email Joey your information (Name, Phone, Email, Full Team Name). In order to be put on the waiting list, you will need to provide a $500 holding deposit. The deposit will be applied to team fees if you get a team spot. Should no team spot be available the deposit will be refunded.
Holding deposits can be made now.
HOW MUCH IS THE ENTRY?
The fees for RT5 will be $2000, plus taxes.
WHAT IS THE DEADLINE TO GET A TEAM FOR RT5?
In order to make sure the current CX4 teams have the chance to take the "bump up" opportunity, the team list for RT5 will not be decided until after NAX. Sufficient time will be provided for everyone to be put on the waiting list for an RT5 team.
WILL THE WINNING CX4 TEAM IN 2012 BUMP UP TO RT5?
For 2013, all CX4 teams have the opportunity to bump up to RT5 to play during this first year.
However, the promotion and relegation to and from the RT5 will commence at the end of the 2013 regular season.
HOW MANY TEAMS IN THE RT5 DIVISION?

HOW DOES THE RELEGATION / PROMOTION WORK FOR RT5?
The RT5 Division now allows a full promotion and relegation path from the Elite to the CX4. The rule books will be revised by the committee to accommodate the new division. The new rule books will be available shortly.
HOW MANY ROSTER CHANGES ARE THERE IN RT5?
The committee will be revising the CXBL rule books to accommodate the new RT5 division.
WILL RXL PLAYERS BE ABLE TO DROP DOWN TO RT5?
Yes, RXL players will be able to drop down to RT5. The rules governing dropping down will be available when the new revised rule books become available.
WHEN WILL THE RULES BE AVAILABLE?
More information will be available at NAX.
WHAT ARE THE DATES FOR RT5?
RT5 will play at the same events as the other divisions. The official CXBL Calendar will be available after NAX and prior to the deposit deadline in November.
WILL THE RT5 BE PLAYING BOTH DAYS?
The schedule for the entire league has not been confirmed yet.
DO YOU HAVE TO PLAY CX4 IN ORDER TO MOVE UP TO RT5?
No, the RT5 was created as a bridge and introduction to XBall.
WILL THERE BE ONLINE TEAM MANAGEMENT?
The league plans to provide online team management for RT5 teams.
WHAT IS THE GUESTING PROGRAM FOR RT5? CAN CX4 PLAYERS GUEST IN BOTH RXL AND RT5?
The RT5 completes a bridge between the CX4 division and RXL. CX4 will now guest to RT5 and RT5 players will now guest to RXL. The rules regarding the guesting program will be available in the updated rule books.
HOW DO CITY NAMES WORK FOR RT5?
CX4 teams who bump up to RT5 will retain their identity/city name. Newly created teams will be allowed to select a city name - provided it is not already represented within the league and is approved by the league.
WILL RT5 PLAYERS NEED XTREMEIDS?
Yes, all players participating in the CXBL League need a valid XtremeID, this includes the new RT5 and the CX4 divisions.
